Here is how you can make it.
Gather Your Materials
This
is such a clean project that you can skip putting newspaper down. If
you do spill, it is just water color paint so it cleans up easily.
Replace the Dot
To
make our sign themed for St. Patrick's days we are replacing the dot of
the "i" in Kiss me with the clover shape. Go ahead and discard this
dot.
Lightest Color
Lightly
dip a very wet brush into the green paint. Make sure only a little bit
of the color in on the brush, then brush it onto the face of the "KEEP"
lettering.
Darkest Green
Since
I knew I wanted the "Kiss Me" to be the darkest green color, I painted
it next so I could see where the other two lines of text needed to be
color wise. I applied as much of the paint as possible and did several
coats.
Ombre Paint Complete
Paint
the other two lines of text accordingly. As you can see here with each
line of text the green color gets more and more saturated.
Placement
Place the letters onto the canvas. Make sure you like the alignment and spacing.
Glue
One
by one, apply glue to the backside of each letters and place back onto
the canvas. Check your spacing and alignment again, allow to dry.
